HSBC Bank (Singapore) has named Anurag Mathur as the new head of its retail banking and wealth management (RBWM) business in Singapore.
Mathur will take over the new role from Matthew Colebrook, who will now lead the bank’s RBWM business in the Middle East.
Mathur will assume the new role on 17 September 2016, and will drive and execute the strategy for the bank’s Singapore RBWM business.
He will report to HSBC Singapore CEO Guy Harvey-Samuel and HSBC RBWM head of Asia-Pacific Kevin Martin.
Mathur started his spell at HSBC Group in Hong Kong in 2009, and since then worked in several senior position for RBWM such as product management, strategic planning and business performance management.
He most recently served as head of international markets for the RBWM business in Asia, responsible for managing the growth for HSBC in Bangladesh, Brunei, Macau, Mauritius, New Zealand, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
