ANZ has signed a five-year agreement with data integrity and control solutions provider Gresham Technologies to strengthen the digital banking capabilities of its corporate and institutional customers.

The agreement particularly aims to enhance the bank’s payments and cash management and enhancing the solutions on the ANZ Transactive Global platform.

The partnership will explore joint innovation opportunities and will include teams of both the companies in Bristol, Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore.

ANZ managing director of transaction banking Mark Evans said: “Through this strategic partnership we expect to accelerate ANZ’s delivery of market-leading solutions that will be suitable for a range of customers including small businesses, multinational corporations, and government institutions.”

Gresham CEO Ian Manocha added: “Today’s corporate and institutional customers want easy to use, integrated experiences across all their banking services. Better control and transparency, instant processing, and more flexible cash management are just some of the priorities we are excited to be working on closely with ANZ.”

The latest alliance builds on the two companies’ existing relationship, which started seven years ago. Since then, Gresham has products built on its Clareti platform such as Cashactive Fusion that is being used by the Australian bank.
