Canadian lender Scotiabank has launched a new information hub called ‘Bank Your Way’ to make digital banking simpler for customers, especially for seniors.
The new information hub is expected to be particularly useful to customers who are grappling with various challenges presented by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

‘Bank Your Way’ features
The new resource will allow the customers to learn the basics of digital banking while offering an expanded suite of self-serve tasks.
Customers can use the hub to check their balances and account history, pay bills, transfer money between accounts, and send and receive Interac e-Transfers using the Scotiabank mobile app.
Scotiabank has made online forms available for customers to apply for payment deferrals on mortgages, auto loans, credit cards and lines of credit.
The bank has also prioritised call centre support for senior customers.
Additionally, the hub supports investment tools like the Scotia iTRADE as well.
Scotiabank VP Ahmad Dajani added: “Within Bank Your Way, we’ve launched added features to help seniors feel more comfortable with all the ways we keep their personal banking information safe.
“We’re also prioritising service for seniors and other vulnerable customers and our Advisers are available for phone appointments, to provide customised advice when our customers need it.”
