Lloyds Bank has taken on marketing group Communisis to manage its transaction-based customer communications for the next decade.
The UK lender signed a ten year contract to commence in August with Communisis, which provides companies with print and online communication services.
The agreement will see Communisis manage online and offline correspondence related to transactions with banking customers in the UK. It will operate in current Lloyds Banking Group sites in Copley and Crawley.
Communisis clinched the deal after it was ratified by the Lloyds Banking board on July 11.
Communisis CEO Andy Blundell said it was a significant win for the company, which will see its operations output double. "We are delighted that Lloyds has entrusted us with an outsourcing contract of such strategic significance," he said.
"Over the ten year term we will work with the bank to develop its customer communications in order to make them more personalised and more effective through all channels," Blundell said.
