Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), New Zealand’s second-largest bank by assets, has launched YouMoney, an online personal financial management (PFM) tool designed to be more customisable and intuitive for customers.
According to BNZ, YouMoney will allow customers to open and close accounts, set savings goals which can be tracked by progress bars and drag and drop funds between their own accounts or to payees.
YouMoney also allows customers to filter transactions by key words or amounts and to add photo avatars to accounts and payees.
Andy Symons, BNZ director of retail, said while YouMoney was aimed at the youth market, research suggested it would appeal to customers of all ages.
He added: "We’ve indentified significant opportunity in the youth segment, so we’re amplifying our relevance to this area of the market through innovation and forward thinking.
"Your banking style no longer just has to suit whatever is available to you and can be personalised to reflect your future plans, spending patterns, or even just your favourite colours."
