Australia and New Zealand
Banking Group (ANZ) is the worst bank in New Zealand for customer
satisfaction, according to a survey by trade union pressure group
Better Banking.
The research, carried out for bank
workers union Finsec, showed that 39% of customers surveyed
expressed dissatisfaction with ANZ, with 46% claiming the bank is
moving in the wrong direction.
Kiwibank, however, was one of the
winners of the survey, with 80% satisfaction and ranked the best
for moving in the right direction at 67%.
Bruce Thompson, a spokesman for the
bank said Kiwibank was always “hot on [the] heels” of its rivals
for customer satisfaction.
