Société Générale (SocGen), France’s second-largest bank
by market capitalisation, has launched the latest edition of its
corporate social responsibility business game, Citizen Act, aimed
at students across the globe.
The new version, Citizen Act III, now challenges students across
Africa and Asia, as well as those in Europe, Canada and India, to
build a bank that can “use its activities to create a more
responsible world”. The winning team will have the opportunity to
realise their project via a cash prize provided by the bank.
In October SocGen’s French rival BNP Paribas, the country’s
largest bank by market capitalisation, launch its own banking game,
Ace Manager, centred around tennis.
