IT services, consulting and business solutions provider, TCS, has launched TCS AI WisdomNext. According to TCS, its platform aggregates multiple Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) services into a single interface. The aim is to enable organisations to rapidly adopt next-gen technologies at scale, lower costs and within regulatory frameworks. In addition, the platform is designed to remove barriers for customers to develop and launch GenAI models. It allows for real-time experimentation across vendor, internal, and open-source LLM models in a single interface.
TCS AI WisdomNext: launched by TCS AI.Cloud unit
The AI.Cloud unit brings together TCS’ capabilities in cloud computing and AI to address the contemporary needs of customers.
AI and GenAI have far-reaching applications across the value chain for businesses. However, solution designers find it difficult to select, experiment and decide on the right foundational models to use. Foundational models are constantly evolving. Each model offers different capabilities in terms of mode of usage, cost, and effectiveness.
TCS’ AI for Business Study, found that the banking, financial services & insurance (BFSI) industries is one of the most optimistic about AI’s potential. Business executives are generally positive about the impact of AI. But they are less certain about the path to transformation.
TCS says AI WisdomNext helps businesses choose the right models and simplify the design of new solutions using GenAI tools. It also enables businesses to reuse pre-existing components to accelerate the design of the solutions.
Enhancing customer experience, improving operational efficiency, strengthening fraud detection and compliance
“BFSI firms are fast opening to the possibilities of GenAI, its potential impact and further multiplier effect in convergence with Predictive AI. This is reflected in the number of pilots and wide-ranging initiatives that customers have embarked upon with TCS. From enhancing customer experience to improving operational efficiency, strengthening fraud detection and compliance, and even reimagining advisory services,” said Babu Unnikrishnan (Unni), CTO, BFSI Americas.
