Bank Nizwa, an Islamic bank in Oman, has partnered with Network International to bolster digital banking compliance.
This collaboration aims to enhance the bank’s fraud prevention capabilities and compliance delivery for digital banking customers.
It will see Network International deploying enterprise fraud prevention solutions at Bank Nizwa.
The agreement marks a crucial step in Network International’s growth within the Oman and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market.
Network International Middle East processing co-head and managing director Navneet Dave said: “We are excited to partner with Bank Nizwa and bolster their transformation objectives.
“As the global finance industry continues to digitise and find new ways to enhance customer experience, security and seamlessness will become increasingly integral to operations.”
Bank Nizwa chief compliance officer Mohammed Al Hashmi said: “As we continue our journey towards transformation, we are focused on redefining the banking experience in Oman’s rapidly evolving financial landscape.
“With consumer needs shifting towards greater convenience, security, and accessibility, our collaboration with Network International will set a new benchmark in ethical banking, in alignment with Oman’s digital future and larger economic goals in addition to serving via conventional banking services.”
The latest move comes shortly after Murat Cagri Suzer’s appointment as the group CEO of Network International. Suzer will lead the company’s growth strategy, operating out of Dubai.
Meanwhile, last December, Network International announced a tie-up with Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB), which will see the UAE bank use Network International’s integrated multi-channel payment solutions to support its digital transformation.
