The value marked a decrease of 30.4% over the previous month of $26.81bn and a drop of 18.4% when compared with the last 12-month average of $22.87bn.

In terms of number of deals, the sector saw a drop of 16.72% with 279 deals in November 2021 when compared to the last 12-month average of 335 deals.

In value terms, North America led the activity with deals worth $7.15bn in November 2021.
