The value marked a decrease of 82.2% over the previous month of $12.96bn and a drop of 53.3% when compared with the last 12-month average of $4.95bn.
The US held a 25.19% share of the global financial services industry M&A deal value that totalled $9.17bn in April 2022.
In terms of M&A deal activity, the US recorded 67 deals during April 2022, marking a decrease of 5.63% over the previous month and a drop of 16.25% over the 12-month average.
