The value marked an increase of 16.2% over the previous month of $578.83m and a rise of 105.5% when compared with the last 12-month average of $327.31m.
Asia-Pacific held a 19.00% share of the global financial services industry venture financing deal value that totalled $3.54bn in April 2021. With a 15.36% share and deals worth $543.73m, India was the top country in Asia-Pacific’s venture financing deal value across financial services industry.
In terms of venture financing deal activity, Asia-Pacific recorded 24 deals during April 2021, marking an increase of 4.35% over the previous month and a rise of 4.35% over the 12-month average. India recorded eight deals during the month.
