The US held a 59.5% share of the global financial services industry M&A deal value that totalled $9.55bn in July 2020.
In terms of deal activity, the US recorded 70 deals during July 2020, marking a decrease of 5.4% over the previous month and a drop of 2.8% over the 12-month average.

3) Berkshire Hathaway’s $400m acquisition of Bank of America
4) The $319m acquisition of Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss by Perpetual
5) Boill Healthcare Holdings’ acquisition of Flourish Ventures for $20.34m.
