North America drives IT hiring at JPMorgan Chase

North America emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 53.23% share, which marked a 215.54% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 32.53%, registering a 231.51% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.1% share and a 306.25% rise over October 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.67% and a month-on-month increase of 900%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.47%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 53.09% share in November 2021, a 214.74% growth over October 2021. India featured next with a 29.17% share, up 212.23% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 12.16% share, an increase of 311.36% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead JPMorgan Chase IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.1%, up by 213% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 25.47% share, a growth of 264.42% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Senior job ads with 7.86% share, up 234.29% over October 2021, while Entry Level postings accounted for 3.56%, recording a month-on-month increase of 278.57%.
