Dutch banking major ABN AMRO Bank has tapped AppDynamics, a Cisco company, to improve digital performance and foster innovation.
The bank has chosen AppDynamics platform for its Application Performance Management (APM) deployment to support development in the bank’s IT environments.
ABN AMRO managing director for IT services Kees Bakker said: “ABN AMRO is happy to start a strategic partnership in proactive monitoring with AppDynamics.”
The vendor said that its ability to map transaction paths will help the bank take “calculated risks” while keeping problems at a minimal.
Cisco Netherlands managing director Edwin Prinsen said: “IT departments and developers wade through a tangle of disconnected data. The combination of Cisco and AppDynamics allows us to provide end to end visibility and intelligence from the network through to the application; which, combined with security and scale, will help IT to drive a new level of business results.”
