Dutch banking group ABN Amro has tapped Temenos to speed up its pace of innovation.
The bank will leverage Temenos Continuous Deployment SaaS offering.
With the solution, which uses DevOps principles, the bank can develop, test and implement software changes quickly.
All these will be done in a secure automated environment, Temenos said.
The bank’s early stage testing and deployment process is said to become over 30% more efficient with the implementation of the solution.
According to the vendor, the solution will enable the bank to accelerate the bank’s software delivery speed and introduce new innovations quickly while lowering deployment expenses.
Temenos will also introduce a dedicated Deployment Centre of Excellence.
The centre will enable banks to industrialise software deployments rapidly and at less costs.
Besides, the vendor launched Build and Renovate, which allows larger banks to build a new digital stack fast and move their products and clients from their legacy stack.
ABN Amro head of IT development core banking international Friso Westra said: “Temenos Continuous Deployment is to provide high levels of automation to support our agile development approach.
“Continuous Deployment will allow our developers to focus more time on the value of their deliverables spending less time coordinating testing and deployment with other teams.”
The relationship of ABN Amro and Temenos dates back to a decade.
The bank already uses the Temenos T24 core system, Temenos Payments Hub, and Temenos WealthSuite.
