ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has installed 3D Secure technology to ensure safe online payments via the internet with the Visa and MasterCard cards.
Aimed to foster online trade with cards, 3D Secure technology implementation will enable authentication of the cardholder’s identity while making online payments through Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.

Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode will redirect customers to the website of their card-issuing bank where their transaction will be validated with one-time password sent to their registered mobile number.
Cardholders will need to register their phone numbers with the card issuing banks to use the 3D Secure system.
The websites, integrated with 3D Secure technology, will reject the transactions until the correct phone number of the customer is registered in the bank.
