Access Bank UK, a fully-owned subsidiary of Nigeria’s Access Bank, has become a full participant in the Cheque and Credit Clearing Company’s Image Clearing System (ICS).

After the latest addition, the ICS system has 18 members.

The ICS system allows banks and other financial institutions to connect their deposit channels enabling them to procure and send images of cheques electronically to facilitate clearing process.

The initiative to join ICS is a part of the bank’s plan to enhance its services to strengthen its relationships with its business and consumer customers.
