American National Bank, a Nebraska-based bank with $3.3bn in assets, has chosen Jack Henry Banking’s SilverLake core banking system which will replace the bank’s existing core platform that has been in operation since 37 years.

According to Jack Henry, the bank was especially attracted by its digital banking, business banking and business process workflow features.

The bank opted for Banno Mobile to offer a simple and customisable mobile app. It also intends to streamline multi-step business processes by using jhaEnterprise Workflow.

The vendor said that its core platform includes various solutions to help the bank support large commercial customers. The solutions are iPay Business Bill Pay, treasury management tools and commercial loan functionality.

The bank will deploy the core processing system through Jack Henry’s outsourced offering known as JHA OutLink Processing Services.

American National Bank CIO Mike Bauer said: “The future of this institution starts with our conversion to SilverLake System’s contemporary technology and experience-oriented infrastructure. It is an opportunity to create a new set of best practices – a complete operational overhaul that will revitalize the customer and employee experience.”
