Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has entered into a new extended contractual agreement with cash technology solutions provider Glory to utilise Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) solutions and services for an additional five year period.
As a part of its branch renewal programme, ANZ has implemented Glory’s TCR technology in more than its 200 branches since 2011.
Besides supporting in-branch cash processes, the new technology was also utilised by ANZ to implement an open plan branch design and revise its counter layout to become more service-oriented business.
Glory Australia managing director Ian Wheeler said: “We are delighted to be partnering with ANZ for a further five years and to support their evolving branch footprint.
“Cash continues to be an important payment method in Australia and optimising cash processes in a secure manner remains a key element of ANZ’s Digital Branch Strategy.
“As a global leader in cash technology solutions we are ideally placed to bring our global experience to the ANZ team to help them achieve their objectives.
