By GlobalDataThe technology vendor said that its Engagement Banking platform is a bundle of pre-built technology platforms that enables banking institutions to own and self-design every step of the customer journey.
Backbase claims that its platform will enable the bank to onboard customers in less than six minutes and offer almost instant access to complete range of banking services, including account management, and credit and debit card activation.
As a part of its strategy to improve digital banking experience, the bank last month launched a new digital banking app in partnership with Backbase and other fintech firms.
NBB chief executive retail banking Subah Al Zayani said: “Partnering with Backbase to accelerate our digital transformation and launch our new app has helped us more readily address our clients’ needs.
“By creating a seamless, unified digital banking platform, we’ve been able to offer state-of-the-art onboarding for customers and positively impact each customer based on their personal needs –offering the right financial solution at the right time.”
To implement its technology, NBB has joined forces with Bring Global.
Backbase regional VP for EMEA Matthijs Eijpe commented: “The launch of their new app has already demonstrated the tangible benefits of our partnership to the end-user.
“However, as NBB continues to grow and enhance their digital capabilities, we are providing a scalable model that matches their customers’ shifting demands both in a cost- and time-effective way, enabling NBB to enhance its infrastructure and processes to maintain its position as industry leader.”
Backbase’s omnichannel digital banking platform serves over 120 financial entities, including BNP Paribas, Bremer Bank, TPBank, Mauritius Commercial Bank, among others.
Recently, Georgia-based BasisBank teamed up with Backbase to offer hyper-personalised services to its retail as well as business customers.
