Banco Falabella, a Chile-based bank, has selected Paragon Application Systems’ ATMulator Plus to generate, modify and test new ATM configuration files.

Developing and testing ATM configuration files with ATMulator Plus is more cost-effective than testing with physical ATMs, claims the lender.

Banco Falabella projects head Victor Reyes said with Paragon’s ATMulator Plus, they are able to generate, modify and test new ATM configuration files in the specified network format before they are uploaded to the ATM.

"We’re using the product to maintain our ATM configuration files and to test BNA (deposit automation) and EMV (chip card) processing," Reyes added.

"ATMulator Plus gives us greater flexibility in developing and testing our ATM configurations and helps us detect and fix any errors prior to uploading ATM load files to the ATM."

Paragon Application Systems Latin America regional sales manager John Chozas said, "We are pleased to be working with them on their EMV implementation with our partner Kuvasz Solutions."
