Bank of Africa (BoA) in Burkina Faso has successfully deployed a modern communications project from SkyVision Global Networks to coonect its headquarters in Ouagadougou to branch offices across the country.
The project included implementing a full communications solution through the SkyVision VPN service, according to the technology firm.
The integrated technology platform comprises a Romantis UHP hub and SkyVision VPN, a VSAT-based communications solution that offers organizations improved network performance and reliable control and system management across remote areas.
BOA headquarters in Ouagadougou will host the Romantis hub, which will consecutively provide coverage to the remote sites (BOA branches) and operate in a complete autonomous environment dedicated solely to BOA sites.
This enables bank to link their remote branch offices quickly and efficiently, and share information through voice and data applications, without any requirement of additional infrastructure.
Bank of Africa CEO Toni Sebastien said: "In Africa, and in particular, Burkina Faso, reliable communications is mandatory to our business and one of our highest priorities.
