BankAtlantic will now provide a mobile-banking platform
specifically designed for consumers with even the most basic mobile
phone devices.
The service allows all
BankAtlantic retail online banking customers that have
web-enabled mobile phone devices to access their personal financial
information via their handsets, which may range from common flip
phones to smartphones.
Customers can view online banking services,
including account balances and transaction histories, through this
service. Users can also carry out transfers, schedule bill
payments, as well as find the nearest BankAtlantic location and
bank contact information on the go.
Lloyd DeVaux, BankAtlantic’s chief operating officer, said, “We
offer a seamless suite of convenient choices to bank from whether
you are using our new mobile web platform, text message banking or
using either of our mobile apps.”
Intuit Financial Services, online banking
service provider to credit unions in the US, will deploy a platform
for BankAtlantic’s new m-banking offering.
