Oman-based BankDhofar has rolled out its mobile banking app in Arabic language, following the app’s success in enabling it to promote seamless banking services.
Users can download the new mobile banking application on the App Store for iPhones, Google Play for Android and BlackBerry devices.
The lender said the new offering has been released to meet the demand of its growing Arabic speaking clientele base.
Leveraging the new app, customers can start financial and non-financial transactions including account summaries and mini-statements, funds transfers, utility bill payment, mobile recharge, card less cash, check exchange rates and prayer timings, locate branches, ATMs and CDMs among others.
BankDhofar eBanking head Marwan Mohammed Al Zadjali said, "The Arabic version of our mobile banking app is bound to see increased registration for the product as well as attract new customers."

BankDhofar said that its mobile banking system also serves as an information channel for exchange rates, latest banking promotions, besides providing a 24-hour contact window to the bank.
