BBVA Compass, US-based subsidiary of Spain’s
second-largest lender, BBVA, has launched an iPad application, BBVA
Compass Mobile Banking.
The bank said that it had developed the
application in house in order to offer greater flexibility and more
functionality than its existing application.

The BBVA Compass Mobile Banking app is an
addition to the bank’s existing mobile banking apps for Android,
Blackberry and iPhone smartphones.
The application is free and helps customers
manage their accounts by leveraging the iPad’s visual and technical
capabilities, the bank said.
Users can check balances, view posted and
pending transactions and statements, transfer funds between
accounts and locate BBVA Compass branches.
