Belarus-based Belgazprombank has deployed a new payment system, SmartVista, developed by BPC Banking Technologies.
SmartVista will enable the bank to support international payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard and China UnionPay, as well as other local payment systems such as Belkart.

The bank expects the new system to allow it to meet new state regulations and initiatives.
Belgazprombank board deputy chairman Elena Antony said they are certain that they can provide their customers with flexible access to a market leading range of innovative products and services.
"We also know that we can offer an improved customer experience. Today, with our processing centre based on SmartVista in live operation, our Bank enjoys enlarged clients service opportunities including the national ‘Belkart’ acquiring, implementation and improving products and services for merchants and our customers," Antony added.
BPC Banking Technologies chief marketing officer Daragh O’Byrne said their two organisations share many of the same values including a focus on innovation and a desire to deliver the best customer service.
