BS/2 Kazakhstan, a subsidiary of the Lithuanian Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) company, has inked an agreement with Sberbank to provide servicing to the bank’s unattended ATM’s network in Kazakhstan.
Commenting on the agreement, BS/2 head of maintenance department Gintaras Petkevičius said: “This deal is proof of a high level of our offered services, as BS/2 provides not only specialised hardware and software solutions for banks and other financial institutions, but also services.
“Servicing a network of more than 1,000 units by BS/2 Kazakhstan, which already serves over 2,600 self-service devices, makes us a market leader – and obliges us a lot,” Petkevičius added.
BS/2 and Sberbank have been working together since 2006 and over 500 ATMs were delivered during that period.
The advanced VTM.iQ hard- and software platforms were installed at two Sberbank branches in Astana and Almaty in early 2017.
The technology upgraded allowed live video consulting with the bank‘s employees, as well as opening and closing the account, checking its balance, cash withdrawal and deposit, obtaining a bank card, currency exchange and paying various bills.
