Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has partnered with BigCommerce to enhance its ecommerce offering for business customers.
The new partnership will work to help businesses of all sizes build their online presence.
As a software-as-a-service (SaaS) ecommerce platform, BigCommerce helps businesses to build online store, expedite market to customers and improve sales.
CBA business customers can access an integrated offering to establish or build their online footprint. The scope of support service will include building website, payment solutions, marketing campaigns and social media support.
The collaboration is also expected to expedite merchant payments and streamline the sign-up process.
CBA Everyday Business Banking executive general manager James Fowle said: “We’re incredibly excited about what our partnership with BigCommerce means for our merchant customers.

By GlobalData“We’ve seen a rapid shift online, particularly in the past year, and this partnership will help our business customers more easily establish and expand their online business.”
BigCommerce APAC vice-president and general manager Shannon Ingrey said: “More than ever before, merchants need to get their products in front of shoppers in the places they are making purchases, and that is increasingly online.
“Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to have a broad omni-channel presence, and partnering with Australia’s leading bank provides greater opportunity for us to further support businesses in their efforts to strategically build, innovate and grow their online business.”
In March, CBA announced that it has started using a purpose-built data model solution to contact natural disaster-affected customers.
