Central 1, a Canada-based banking and payments provider for credit unions and financial institutions, has rolled out its new digital banking platform Forge.
Powered by Backbase technology, Forge offers flexibility as well as control and allows its clients to design their own digital branch.
Forge, according to the company, features modern design, streamlined front end features, performance and speed for mobile, public website and online banking channels.
Central 1 president and CEO Mark Blucher said: “We promised our clients something exceptional and in nine short months we have delivered a platform that will enable our clients to create personalised, customised banking experiences for their consumers.

Alterna Bank, a subsidiary of Alterna Savings and Credit Union, and FirstOntario Credit Union are the first financial institutions in Canada to implement Forge.
