Citibank has appointed a former Wells Fargo director as its
regional president of consumer banking in Eastern US as part of its
drive to expand its retail banking offer.
Prior to her appointment at Citibank, Kathryn
Dinkin was regional president of Southeast Florida at Wells
Fargo.
In her role, Drinkin will be responsible for
the bank’s services and sales strategies for Boston to Miami
branches including New York and Washington.
Citi’s president of US consumer and commercial
banking, Cece Stewart said that Dinkin will play an “integral role
in the expansion of our consumer business” across the eastern
United States.
“Her history of success in financial sales
management and passion for client service make her a strong asset
as we deepen our commitment to our providing superior client
service and look to drive revenue growth in our key regions,”
Stewart said.
With the appointment of Dinkin, Citibank are
planning to implement a plan to align its US consumer banking in
East, Central and West where all regional presidents will have the
responsibility for developing and executing strategies that drive
client service and revenue growth.
