Beyond Bank Australia, one of the country’s largest customer-owned banks, has collaborated with Cognizant to transform the digital banking experience.
The engagement with Cognizant is expected to enhance Beyond Bank’s End User Compute (EUC) teams, automate patching processes, enable self-service capabilities, and extend the value of existing licences.
These initiatives are designed to create a more resilient and secure environment for the bank’s operations.
Cognizant Australia country manager Rob Marchiori noted: “Cognizant is committed to supporting Beyond Bank’s mission to provide enhanced services to their customers. By enhancing their digital capabilities, we will help them provide better services to their customers and support paving the way for a resilient banking model that addresses current and future market demands.”
Furthermore, the collaboration will upgrade the bank’s IT infrastructure, establish a Security Operations Centre (SOC), and strengthen vendor assurance frameworks. These steps are intended to help Beyond Bank align with the standards set by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
A significant aspect of Beyond Bank’s digital transformation is the focus on several key workstreams. These include cloud and API architecture modernisation and an enterprise-wide migration to Windows 11.
