European Central Bank (ECB) is set to introduce a new 10 banknote on 13 January 2014.
To commemorate the launch of new banknote and to make European Union residents aware of its security features, ECB has launched an online competition for people aged over 18 years.
As part of the competition, which closes on 12 January 2014, players will have to discover four security features of the banknote and also find out the number of euro banknotes being circulated in the area on 31 December 2013.
Twenty players with highest scores will be rewarded with 5 VIP banknotes from the Europa series signed by ECB president Mario Draghi. Also, ECB will reward 80 runner-ups with 10 banknote from the first series.
ECB director general communications and language services, Christine Graeff, said, "The euro is the most visible and internationally known symbol of a united Europe. 334 million people use euro banknotes every day. This game is a fun way to remind all of us to take a closer look at them."
