Stuttgart, Arkansas-based Farmers & Merchants Bank has chosen Candescent’s digital banking platform, aiming to enhance service delivery in both retail and business banking.
This move aligns with the bank’s strategy to boost digital adoption and simplify operations.
The tech vendor said that its platform will help the bank support more “intuitive” interactions, improve mobile access, and streamline cash management services.
Candescent’s platform is said to deliver the “extensibility” and functionality necessary for Farmers & Merchants Bank’s employees and customers.
Farmers & Merchants Bank president Greg Connell said: “Candescent’s platform enables us to deliver the well-rounded, personal banking experience customers expect while increasing efficiencies and productivity in our back office.”
The bank, which has $1.8bn in assets, has been a community mainstay since 1945, offering financial services to farmers, businesses, and families.
This digital upgrade will also support the bank’s objectives to optimise back-office processes, while data-driven insights from Candescent will enable more personalised customer offerings.
Candescent CEO Brendan Tansill said: “Our API-driven, extensible framework will empower the bank to drive innovation, strengthen loyalty and quickly respond to changing customer preferences and needs.
“As Farmers & Merchants Bank looks to the future, our platform offers a robust foundation for growth and continued success in an increasingly competitive financial services landscape.”
In February this year, The Union Bank Company, based in Columbus Grove, Ohio, chose Candescent’s digital banking platform.
The $1.2bn community bank aims to enhance its services for both consumers and businesses with the adoption of this platform.
Candescent, which is claimed to be largest independent digital banking platform in the US, serves over 1,300 banks and credit unions, which collectively cater to nearly 30 million registered users.
The platform’s comprehensive product suite is said to integrate digital and physical banking channels seamlessly.
