Farmers & Merchants Bank has decided to utilise Banc Intranets’ BancWorks employee intranet to centralise internal communications and smoothen access to bank resources for its employees.

The new solution, designed specifically for financial institutions, is expected to streamline internal bank communications.

Farmers & Merchants Bank CIO Rob Horan said: “The fact that Banc Intranets is designed specifically for banks and credit unions made this decision a no brainer.

“It is evident that Banc Intranets knows the industry inside and out, and they have designed and developed a solution in BancWorks that best fits our bank’s unique business needs.”

The implementation of BancWorks as a resource will help the bank employees deployed across its 18 branches to readily access company news, policies and procedures as well as important documents.

It will also enable the bank to adjust security parameters to control the level of accessibility of confidential and important documents across its staff thereby enhancing security levels.
