Ghana-based First Atlantic Bank has opened a modern branch at the Airport Residential area in Accra as part of its expansion plans in the region.
The new airport branch is the third to open after Spintex Road and American House branches, according to the lender.
Speaking at the inauguration, bank board chairperson Karen Akiwumi Tanoh said the bank has re-invented itself in keeping with the increasing demands of its customers, with the launch to bring customers closer to the bank.
"Our branch roll-outs is a testimony of our strong belief in the resilience of the Ghanaian economy and its long term prospects."
The Airport branch will provide an array of services including corporate, commercial, retail, institutional and electronic banking.
First Atlantic bank managing director and CEO Gabriel Edgal said: "The bank will be dynamic and responsive, to the needs of all our customers and this we will do that by providing what we have come to refer to as the Purple Experience which is a distinctly different service, delivered to you by a team that are extremely passionate with the desire to create value."
