Fiserv, a US-based financial services technology solutions provider, has redesigned its online banking platform, Corillian Online, with the addition of new digital money movement capabilities.

Designed to simplify the user experience, the platform features reduced drop down screens and fly-outs, visual clutters, and use of iconography.

Some of its new features include moving the Popmoney person-to-person (P2P) payments and account-to-account transfers to the home page, bringing it closer to the existing bill payment capabilities. The bank has also simplified its Financial Overview page, which is mostly visited by consumers.

The updated features also include allowing family banking and small business banking users to better manage their accounts, and adding segmentation functionality that allows financial institutions to offer customised banking features to different customer segments from one platform.

Fiserv digital channels president Erich Litch said Corillian Online strikes a balance between functionality and simplicity.

"We’ve given users ready access to the capabilities they use the most, such as making payments and transferring funds, within a very clean user interface that reflects the current best practices of digital design.
