Swedish bank Handelsbanken has awarded a three-year contract to The TALL Group of Companies for the provision of cheque books.
The contract was awarded to the UK-based payment solutions provider following a rigorous review and testing process.
Under the terms of the contract, the Group’s Lisburn-based subsidiary DLRT will print and personalise cheque books for Handelsbanken customers.
All cheque books will come with a Unique Coded Number (UCN) and other security features to prevent frauds.
The UCN is part of the Image Survivable Features (ISFs) suite developed by The TALL Group. It is a unique combination of digits, characters and symbols, and works in combination with the magnetic code line (MICR) to prevent cheque book frauds.
The latest contract builds on the existing partnership between Handelsbanken and The TALL Group’s company Checkprint. The Swedish lender uses the Checkprint Banking Assistant solution to gain increased control and visibility to manage incoming cheques.
