HSBC Bank Malta has rolled out its latest free mobile banking app to offer a secure and convenient payment channel to its customers.
Available to download at Apple Store for iPhone, iPad and Google Play for Android smartphone, the new app allows users to check their account balances, and transaction details and history, as reported by maltaIndependent.
In addition, the app also enables users to send money to any other third-party HSBC account holders, including those who don’t use mobile banking, which is unique to HSBC Mobile Banking.
HSBC Malta retail banking & wealth management head Paul Steel was quoted by maltaIndependent as saying: "Our goal for the launch of our new mobile banking app is to provide HSBC Malta customers with innovative and personalised experience across devices and channels while they are on the move, and in a way that suits them."
In order to use the m-banking app, the customer must be an HSBC Personal Internet Banking user.
