IND Group, a developer and provider of banking front-office products on the European e-finance market, has rolled out its latest mobile banking application – Essence.

Essence, which is built around the customer and their most used mobile banking functions – balance enquiry, transaction history and money transfer, can be accessed by the customers round the clock.

The application features a unique functionality that minimizes data transfer as per the high security standards of banks, so that only non-sensitive data is stored on the mobile and all sensitive data is encrypted when transmission is required.

In order to execute a payment, the customers will have to approve a pre-filled payment template and they receive reminders to avoid missing payments, according to the company.

Featuring easy-to-use functions, manageability, relevancy and user-friendly surfaces, the new front-end banking app provides an effective communication platform between banks and their customers.

Available independently or as part of IND’s multi-channel approach, the application can be integrated into an existing online banking platform.

The application enables transfers between own accounts and to third parties, besides allowing to send and request money via Facebook, PayPal and SMS.

To avoid inconvenience to users and thwart any possible security risk, the app asks the user ID and password only once.

Furthermore, it allows banks to keep update their customers about new offers, rates and services, by transforming the mobile banking channel into a real-time communication and sales platform.
