Indonesia-based Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN Bank) has rolled out a new digital front-office platform.
It is based on Diasoft’s Flextera Suite and can offer countrywide support for its front-end customer services.
Flextera offers flexibility, scalability and customisation capabilities to the bank enabling it to serve its customers via nearly 500 branches.
The digital transformation process, initiated in 2016, is a part of BTPN’s strategy to develop into an all-in-one bank.
In the first phase of the project, Diasoft in collaboration with its local partner Sistema Datapilar rolled-out digital Flextera front-office system.
Bank services supported by this solution includes customer identification, operations with current accounts and deposits. In addition, cardholder services, cash and cheque transactions, money transfers are available.

By GlobalDataAdditionally, the front office system integrated with BTPN’s corporate ESB to ensure seamless communication with the back-office platform.
In the second phase, BTPN implemented the Flextera suite across the bank’s branch network in Indonesia.

Besides Diasoft Flextera Front Office for its daily operations, BTPN uses own application development based on Diasoft Flextera tools to develop and deploy Java-based SOA software applications.
