Challenger bank Lunar has launched a digital bank account with a Visa card offering for non-citizens, ex-pats or international students living and working in Denmark.
The bank account is meant for teenagers between 15 and 17 years of age and help them manage their allowances, salary and money on their account.
The Danish bank account can be linked with the existing Lunar Nemkonto, an ‘easy account’, and the fee-free Visa card that comes with the new account on the Lunar app.
The Lunar app users can check their spend overview, set up savings goals, use budget tools, get instant notifications and offers free domestic transfers and payments.
The challenger bank said that the new account holders will add to its already existing user base of 150,000 people.
Using the new account, teenagers can also focus on developing their skills and learn about money management.
