Mashreq Qatar has opened its first technology enabled branch, E Cube, in Doha that will offer smart banking services to customers, using interactive electronic devices.
The branch will greet customers with a 75" exterior screen that uses motion detection technology and will help customers to explore Mashreq’s products & services.
The E-Cube branch, being environmentally friendly, will offer customers a paperless processing experience without the requirement to fill out forms for day to day banking transactions.
The new branch, which will also be Mashreq’s new country head office, will house the retail banking team, business banking and corporate banking team.
Mashreq Qatar head of retail banking Niranjan Mendonca said: "For the first time in Qatar, our award winning E-Cube branch is providing customers with new age banking.
"In addition to regular branch transactions, customers can use the e-kiosk to have a video chat with a customer service representative, 24×7. This is also our first disabled-friendly branch location, with a dedicated wheelchair access ramp and suitably configured ATMs and electronic interfaces."
