British lender Metro Bank has appointed Roger Fenwick as director of Specialist Sectors for its commercial business.

Fenwick will be responsible for the expansion and development of the bank’s dedicated sector teams. He will look after healthcare, hospitality and leisure, insurance and financial services, and property teams of the bank.

In the new role, Fenwick will report to Metro Bank managing director of commercial banking Mark Stokes.

Fenwick has over two decades of experience in financial services industry. Fenwick is joining Metro Bank from RBS Group, where he was regional managing director of Specialist Sectors for London and the South East.
