Japan’s Mizuho Bank has implemented DIGIPASS for Apps solution from Vasco Data Security International to strengthen security of its online and mobile banking channels.
DIGIPASS for Apps includes multiple APIs that integrate application security, biometric authentication, risk analysis, electronic signing into mobile applications.
Vasco said that the solution offers a wide range of features to combat fraud and hacking attacks, without compromising user experience.
Vasco president and COO Scott Clements said: “Mizuho Bank is one of the thousands of banks worldwide that rely on VASCO solutions not only because of the exceptional security they provide but, more importantly to customers, their ease of use.
“Improving the customer experience is the top driver for all banks globally, and DIGIPASS for Apps is helping satisfy that need.”
The Japanese bank already uses Vasco’s Digipass 275 Authenticator with electronic transaction signing feature to boost security of its online retail banking services.
