National Australia Bank (NAB) has launched its new rewards programme that will allow customers to improve the value of their everyday spending by earning and redeeming points on some of the best value products.

With the NAB Rewards programme, customers can earn while they spend and then redeem points on more than 1,500 goods and services, access to a number of flights in and out of Australia through a new strategic partnership with online travel agency Webjet, and exclusive offers through NAB’s partnership with the AFL.

Furthermore, customers can also make donations by redeeming their points to a number of over 80 participating charities. They can select from one of three credit card options: Classic, Platinum and Business.

The Platinum Business Card gives up to 80,000 bonus points when the cardholder spends AUD15,000 during the first 90 days.

The Platinum Card offers the same 80,000 bonus points; however, at a smaller spend of AUD2,500 in the first 90 days.

The Classic Card provides with 40,000 bonus points when the card members spend AUD1,500 within 90 days of opening their account.

All three cards earn NAB Rewards points, which can be manually converted into frequent flyer points for the airline partners including Virgin Australia, Cathay Pacific and Air New Zealand.

NAB executive general manager of consumer lending Angus Gilfillan said: “We understand that people want value for money, and NAB Rewards will help them get more out of their everyday spending, as well as help them enjoy some big ticket items, like a family holiday.

“NAB Rewards gives customers more flexibility, control and choice so they can be rewarded the way they want.”
