British banking company NatWest Group has partnered with NCR Atleos to modernise its self-service banking operations.

This collaboration aims to transform the customer experience for over 19 million clients across the UK by upgrading more than 5,500 ATMs and multi-function devices.

NatWest Group cash and self service head Richard Talbot said: “We are on a journey to deliver a next generation self-service refresh across our software and customer facing technology.

“NCR Atleos’ flexible, scalable self-service platforms and proven expertise are helping us build the framework that will enable future agility, innovation and growth in the self-service channel. We look forward to exploring future self-service innovation with our trusted partners at NCR Atleos.”

Recognising the necessity for an agile self-service platform, the group is now working with NCR Atleos to overhaul its self-service banking channel.

The upgrade involves replacing existing ATMs and devices with advanced NCR Atleos technology.

The new systems will feature 19-inch touchscreen displays, streamlining branch operations, enhancing service availability, and facilitating the introduction of new services.

NCR Atleos’ advanced solutions are designed to provide uninterrupted access to cash and banking services.
