In the first phase, BankDhofar modernised its branches in collaboration with Infosys’ customer-centric digital transformation studio. This will help in improving customer experience as well as enhancing operational efficiency.

The second phase involved modernisation of digital channels and upgrading existing Finacle Online Banking application for both retail and corporate banking.

BankDhofar also implemented the Finacle Digital Engagement Hub to deliver integrated and tailored digital banking services across channels.

In the final phase, the entire back-end technology infrastructure was modernised. It included upgrading Finacle Treasury, Finacle Payments and Finacle Core Banking platforms to the latest Finacle 11 enterprise version.

Training staff on the new platform was also part of the programme.

Finacle is a digital banking solution suite from EdgeVerve Systems, a wholly owned product subsidiary of Infosys.

According to the company, the solution is used by banks in more than 100 countries to serve more than a billion consumers.
