Polish bank BPH is targeting to grow its retail customer bank
accounts by 100,000, or 15%, by the end of the year, the bank’s
deputy president told RBI.
The bank currently has 650,000 retail banking
account customers.
Grzegorz Jurczyk, deputy president of Bank
BPH, told RBI that it was difficult to stand out in the
Polish banking market in terms of individual banking products.
He said that the bank responded to this
challenge by launching a new family of products to make its
products “simpler and more attractive” to customers.
The full interview with details about the
bank’s new products and services will be released in the next issue
of RBI during the first week of April.
