Portugal-based Banco Best, the online
subsidiary of Banco Espirito Santo, has gone live with an online
personal financial management tool (PFM) aimed at the whole
family.
Banco Best’s PFM tool groups expenses and
income according to specific categories and provides detailed
reports on the family budget.
It also offers an alert service to remind
families when expenses approach a pre-set budget limit.
Banco Best said that the tool enables families
to visualise their expenses and expenditure for a particular
period, including analysing the weight of each category in the
family’s total budget as well as a savings planning
feature.
The launch of the family PFM tool follows
Banco Best’s introduction of eBudget, a PFM app for iPhones, iPod
Touch, iPads and Android smartphones in February.
Banco Best said the introduction of the family
tool was part of its social responsibility strategy to help
families cope with Portugal’s economic downturn.
